Comfy clothes for crawling- nappykind

So “A” is officially crawling, proper room to room one length of the house to the other no stopping her crawling. So now more than ever its important to me that her wardrobe is fit for purpose. Everything must be comfy for crawling. So when i came across nappykind boutique on twitter and saw they had lovely legwarmers and leggings i had to check them out.

Nappykind is a fabulous online boutique based in Leeds, started up by two university students with a passion for baby fashion, legwarmers in particular! They believe every little one should have a pair in their life and after testing out ours we couldn’t agree more!!

The nappykind boutique website http://www.nappykindboutique.co.uk/  is bright and colourful, really easy to navigate, with great pictures and descriptions of each product making it really easy to shop on. They stock a range of products including babyland cloth nappies currently on sale for £6.99, Dotty fish leather baby shoes, rompers, bibs, tag blankets, hats, leggings and legwarmers.

I ordered the flower meadow legwarmers, the are £7.99 currently on sale for £5.99. I just loved the pattern thought was so cute and with the background being cream i thought i could match them well with a lot of outfits!

A is like me she likes to be wrapped up cosy, shes not one of these babies that will ever be seen pottering around in only a vest or even less just a nappy she likes to be snuggly so at first i thought legwarmers are not really suitable for her but actually they are fab. I teamed them with her stretch denim shorts, the legwarmers are a perfect long length so they cover from her ankle to the top of her thighs fitting perfectly under the shorts. They look gorgeous and are so handy teamed with shorts or a skirt for nappy changes compared to tights.

They are lovely and soft against her skin which is key especially when she spends her day crawling from place to place. They have great stretch meaning they will fit any size of baby legs from skinny minnies to cuddly little legs. We have also scrunched them down below the knee with little socks underneath and they look super cute. Once the more wintry weather arrives we will team them with ugg boots scrunched over tights/trousers or leggings for extra warmth. I’ve seen them put over the top of uggs and scrunched and they look great.

Nappykind state they are a birth -8years product as they have stretch and can be worn to just below the knee for 8year olds. This is fab value for money, I can’t think of another clothing item you could buy a baby and they could still use when they are eight!

There is such a great variety of patterns that you can buy a set of legwarmers to match every outfit your little one has.  And they are not just for girls! Nappykind stock a great range of little boys legwarmers too! Like these lovely Alphabet navy warmers and these cute car print ones. There prices are really reasonable starting from as little as £1.99 in the sale to about £7.99 full price.

They have a number of gift set’s and other lovely bits and pieces making them a great place to have a peek at if your shopping for a baby gift, birthday or just a little treat for your little one!

They are really friendly too and happy to help with any queries etc so don’t hesitate to get in touch with them.

I have a feeling we will be adding to our legwarmer collection in the coming months!!!

( I purchased these legwarmers myself, however i got a blogger discount for the purpose of reviewing).
